The SASMT Study Bursaries aim to support current SASMT members pursuing further music studies.
These bursaries are granted biennially to South African citizens accepted for studies at a South African tertiary institution.
Exclusively available to SASMT members with a membership of over two years, the availability of bursaries is subject to the surplus funds of SASMT.
Each application must contain: (i) Completed Application Form (ii) Certified copy of the candidate’s ID (dated within three months) (iii) Full academic record (iv) Recommendation from a SASMT member (v) Brief curriculum vitae (vi) Proof of acceptance at an academic institution (vii) Written motivation for financial support (viii) Electronic photo, approximately 500px in height
Successful applicants will be required to present a paper at the biennial SASMT National Conference.
Applications must reach the Executive Officer by the end of October.
